This celebration in San Miguel de Allende is for its own patron saint, Saint Michael. It is the town’s most significant event. On Saturday and Sunday various communities from throughout Mexico present offerings called “Xuchiles,” created with flowers, bread, and cucharilla. Conchero dancers accompany them up to the central square and offer their dance to Saint Michael in front of the Parroquia.
